Sorrento and the Amalfi coast 

A wonderful early Autumn break in sunny Sorrento with wonderful day trips to Positano, Ravello (including Villa Ruffolo and Villa Cimbrone), Amalfi, Vesuvius, the Russo family Lacryma Christi vineyard for a tasting tour, Herculaneum and a boat trip to Capri.

Although the summer was over, there was still some spectacular wildlife; the Hummingbird hawk-moths and butterflies were stunning.
